Wolf Admin’s New Climate Goals Include Cap-and-Trade

Saving nuclear power plants, boosting use of renewable energy sources like wind and solar, and crafting a carbon cap-and-trade policy for Pennsylvania's energy generators are some of the biggest steps called for in helping to preserve Pennsylvania's climate as we know it.

Those big steps stand out among dozens of smaller ones in the Wolf Administration's updated Climate Change Action Plan as the state tries to meet Gov. Tom Wolf's previously-stated leap to an 80 percent cut in greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
