Pharma Finds Its Feet in Fight Against Climate Change

At Ankleshwar in India, a wind turbine stands against the skyline, generating 30 per cent of the power required to manufacture medicines for French pharmaceutical giant Sanofi.

Operated and maintained by Suzlon Energy, it has helped Sanofi reduce its CO2 emissions from the plant by about 3,600 tonnes each year and improved energy security.
