What Is Energy Indepence Really Worth to Us?

The report does not actually predict the United States will become energy independent by 2030, though it says that North America will be. This comes from greater production, thanks to the new technologies driving natural gas and shale oils as well as increased renewables, and also from greater efficiency in energy usage. . .
